In Germany and throughout Europe, several thousand events are held each year as part of the International Week Against Racism to make a public stand against racism and in support of a society characterized by respect for human dignity.
"The aim of the campaign weeks is to raise awareness of racist and discriminatory mindsets and behaviour, and to find strategies for overcoming them," explains the city's Integration Commissioner, Stojan Gugutschkow. "We hope that numerous stakeholders will again take part this year."
