Migrants will be able to obtain information about different training, employment and further education opportunities in Leipzig at around 50 stands on the upper floor of the New Town Hall from 10.00 to 15.00 on 28 May 2015. The exhibitors will include companies, educational institutes, clubs and institutions. There will also be a workshop on the topic of "Recognition of foreign qualifications", as well as a check on application portfolios and a presentation on dual vocational training in Germany.
The Integration Fair will be officially opened at 10.00 on 28 May 2015 by Burkhard Jung, Mayor of Leipzig, who is also the patron of the event. A welcoming address will be given by Petra Köpping, Minister of State for Gender Equality and Integration of the Saxon Ministry for Social Affairs and Consumer Protection.
Intercultural marketplace
Interested Leipzig residents will be able to see the commitment of different clubs and experience international flair during the intercultural marketplace in the ceremonial room from 14.00 to 19.00. First-class entertainment will be provided by a musical stage programme. Children will be made very welcome - various creative activities and a puppet theatre show have been organised for them. The steering group "Leipzig Trades fairly" will offer Fairtrade coffee and products.
