Flying from Leipzig/Halle in summer 2015
From 15 May 2015 onwards the Slovenian airline Express Airways will fly every Friday to the Croatian island of Brac. SunExpress Deutschland is offering weekly flights to these two cities.
The number of flights to the Greek islands is also being increased: the summer timetable now contain 8 flights a week to Crete and 3 to Corfu and Kos. There are flights to a total of around 40 sun destinations on the Mediterranean, the Atlantic coast and the Red and Black Sea.
New from Leipzig/Halle: SWISS will operate a new daily scheduled connection from and to Leipzig/Halle from 18 April 2015 onwards. Daily flights are also available from Leipzig/Halle to the European destinations Vienna (Austrian Airlines) and Istanbul (Turkish Airlines). In addition, there are non-stop flights to London (Ryanair) and Barcelona (Vueling), as well as the German cities of Frankfurt, Munich (Lufthansa), Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn and Stuttgart (Germanwings).
Turkish Airlines optimises flight times to Istanbul
Turkish Airlines is optimising the departure times of its morning flights from and to Istanbul on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Due to the earlier starts in Istanbul (08:55) and in Leipzig/Halle (11:40), passengers can reach their connecting flights at the Istanbul hub even more easily.
